About Paul Sontag

Paul Sontag is the owner and operator of Spartan Photography in Buford, GA - a northern suburb of Atlanta, GA.

In September of 2015, Paul Sontag posted this image in a private photographers' group on Facebook.
This was an idiotic move on his part, because another member of the same private group, Ed Woodson, had posted the original version of that image just a few weeks before.
Paul flipped the image horizontally, removed the model's tattoo, and added the Spartan Photography watermark.

Stealing a photographer's work and posting it as your own in a photographers' group is about the same as kicking a wasps nests, and the photographers in that group immediately began to research the other photos attributed to Paul Sontag and Spartan Photography. Not surprisingly it was discovered that many of the photos Paul claimed were his were actually copied from other websites including eastern European escort sites, professional models, professional photographers, Playboy, and too many orphaned photos to count.

As you can read on other pages and entries on this blog, Paul Sontag has a verifiable history of lying to and misleading new models about his credentials, his skill set, and his contacts. We hope that what you read here will serve as a warning to anyone who may be involved with Paul Sontag and Spartan Photography, or other people like him, to check references and educate yourself about the way alleged photographers work very hard to mislead new models.
